A young woman was found murdered in a hotel in Nsukka, Enugu State, with a suspect reportedly on the run.
The incident occurred at the Madoka Hotel on Ibagwa Road, where the victim checked in with a young man who claimed she had left early in the morning.
However, hotel staff discovered her body later, and the police are currently investigating the matter.
Investigation Update
The Enugu State Police Command has established a murder case, but the spokesman, SP Daniel Ndukwe, has debunked claims of ritual murder and body mutilation.
According to Ndukwe, the victim’s body parts are intact, and there is no evidence to support the ritual claims.
