The Chairman of the Enugu State Post Primary School Management Board (PPSMB) has debunked social media reports that some students of Queen Secondary School, Enugu were expelled from the school.
Rev. Fr. Hilary Mgbodile made this known when our reporter called him to ascertain the true position of things.
It was earlier reported that a good number of students who are preparing to write their final exams were illegally expelled from the school due to lateness.
But according to Rev. Fr. Mgbodile, ” Did they show you their expulsion letters”?
“You see, this decision was reached sometime last year during the last PTA meeting.
“We discovered that students come to school very late. On inquiry, we discovered that some of them come to school from the far away 9th mile, Ibeagwa Nike, Gariki etc.
“And we said that it can’t continue that way. If you live far from the school we shall get you another government school closer to where you live to avoid all these unnecessary late coming and loitering during school hours”. Mgbodile said.
