A lone protester, who simply identified himself as Uchenna, took to the streets of Enugu on Thursday to draw attention to the plight of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
With a determined look on his face, Uchenna held a placard with a bold inscription, “UN End Judicial Terrorism Now!” as he marched through the bustling streets of the city.
The protester, who seemed undeterred by the rain, expressed his concerns about Kanu’s prolonged detention and called on the United Nations and all relevant agencies to intervene in the matter.
“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been detained for far too long, and it’s time for the international community to take notice and act,” Uchenna said, his voice filled with conviction.
