Affected resident calls for help

A devastating fire outbreak occurred at Number 9 Bunker Lane, Udi Siding, Enugu, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, leaving a trail of destruction and despair in its wake.
The fire, which started at approximately 5:40 am, affected the left flat on the top floor of a one-storey building, belonging to one Mr. Johnson Onyibor.
The fire was later contained by the Enugu State Fire and Rescue Service, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the building.
Mr. Onyibor, who was away in the village during the incident, was visibly distraught upon arrival at the scene, appealing for assistance from the state government, SEMA, and other philanthropic individuals.
The cause of the fire remains unknown as no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police, led by the DPO CPS, were also on ground to ensured security at the scene.
Mr. Onyibor has however, called on the state government and public-spirited individuals to aid his family, now in a dire situation.
