The death toll from a recent attack by suspected armed herdsmen in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State, has risen to four after another body was recovered. The victims, all farmers, were attacked on their farms in the Mgbuji autonomous community on Monday.

- Search Party Launched: A search party was launched after the attack, and three corpses were recovered and deposited in the morgue.

Community leaders have expressed frustration and despondency over the attacks, lamenting that the government only mobilizes security agents after every attack to collect corpses but does nothing to prevent the attacks or engage the assailants.
