A prominent figure in the diaspora community has called on Captain Douglas Chukwus, a Nigerian-American, Founder and CEO of Diaspora Voices Network, to contest the 2027 presidential election in Nigeria.
Dr. Mathias Madus, Secretary, Transport Drivers Healthcare Safety Initiative, and the
Director General, Diaspora Voices Network (DVN) and the CDC Group who made the call while addressing a world press conference, believes that Captain Chukwus has the potential to lead Nigeria to a brighter future.
Why Captain Chukwus?
Dr. Madus cited Captain Chukwus’s philanthropic work and compassion for the vulnerable as key reasons why he would be an ideal candidate.
“Despite not holding any political office, Captain Chukwus has made a significant impact on people’s lives through his charitable efforts”. Madus said.
Dr. Madus is confident that if given a political mandate, Captain Chukwus would prioritize the welfare of majority of the less privileged and down trodden in the country.
A Call to Action
Dr. Madus urged Captain Chukwus to consider joining a political party that aligns with his values and vision for Nigeria. He expressed optimism that Captain Chukwu’s leadership would be a turning point for Nigeria, enabling the country to achieve its full potentials.
